How Our Occupational Therapy Helps
We understand that every child is unique. Our paediatric occupational therapy helps children aged 3–12 across the Nambucca Valley develop the skills they need for everyday life, school readiness, and emotional regulation. Whether your family is in Nambucca Heads, Macksville, Bowraville or a surrounding community, our OT services are tailored to your child's individual strengths and NDIS goals.
Telehealth OT + Mobile Key Worker Support
Our paediatric occupational therapy combines two connected parts. First, your child's Occupational Therapist provides assessment, consultation and therapy planning via telehealth—identifying priority areas in alignment with your family's goals and NDIS plan. Your OT also creates a simple parent home support plan with practical strategies you can use between sessions. Then, our mobile Key Workers implement the tailored therapy plan with your child in their everyday environments—home, preschool, school or community settings across the Nambucca Valley and wider Mid North Coast. Most families are connected with their OT for an initial telehealth session within 1–2 weeks of completing intake, with ongoing Key Worker support commencing shortly after.
When Might Your Child Benefit From Occupational Therapy?
Paediatric occupational therapy may be helpful for NDIS children across the Nambucca Valley who are navigating autism, ADHD, developmental delay or other neurodivergent profiles. Rather than focusing on a diagnosis, OT looks at the everyday activities your child may be finding tricky and works with their strengths to build confidence and independence.

- Daily living skills: Struggles with dressing, feeding, toileting, or sleep routines.
